i made this music on a triton in 2004 in pasadena, california while attending PCC and living in the basement of a house with 6-11 roommates at different times.
in 2008 i finally recorded vocals to it for the fun of it to mixdown to cd-r and pass out for free at the smell and other shows. i called this cd-r the "boyle heights ep" because i lived there at the time across from hollenbeck park.
the song is about an ex-girlfriend named Alice
i have performed this song at every show i did since then. it is one of my favorites, so of course it made the first official album.
